    Happy retirement, Dianne Shoemaker!

    The Farm Office team is minus a key member, Dianne Shoemaker, field specialist in dairy production economics and leader of the Ohio Farm Business Analysis and Benchmarking Program.  Dianne retired on June 30, ending her 36-year career with OSU Extension.  We will miss Dianne's commitment to Ohio agriculture, her work in moving dairy and grain operations toward sound financial analysis, her subtle leadership skills, and her refreshing sense of humor.  Best wishes in retirement, Dianne!

    Join Robert Moore, attorney with OSU's Agricultural & Resource Law Program, for this webinar hosted by the National Agricultural Law Center.  Robert will explore the costs and likelihood of needing long-term care and will analyze normal scenarios and the dreaded outlier scenarios (long stays in nursing homes)to help guide farmers on strategies to mitigate long-term care risks.
