Instructor's Biography

OSU Extension is pleased to have Attorney Phil Harris return as instructor of this year's Ag and Natural Resources Tax Issues Webinar. He is one of the nation's leading experts in this subject.

Phil is an attorney and professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has written tax course materials and taught at tax courses for 37 years.

Currently, Professor Harris co-authors the National Income Tax Workbook, used by more than 30,000 tax practitioners throughout the United States.  Additionally, he writes an annual edition of Agricultural Tax Issues and lectures around the country on agricultural tax issues.  Professor Harris also consults with businesses and tax practitioners and is Director of Tax Insight, LLC, an education provider for tax professionals.
